Plans for BTRFS snapshot implementation of backintime?

Do you have plans for re-implementing backintime to use BTRFS snapshots instead of hard links?

No, BIT does must not depends (if possible) of the file-system.

A BiT for BTRFS snapshots would have both different internals and configuration options. It wouldn't just be swapping out a different back-end storage mechanism.

However, a version of BiT that acts as a GUI wrapper for BTRFS snapshots would make sense, if such a tool doesn't already exists. If it doesn't, eventually someone will likely create one.

I think it's better to have snapshots on another drive (removable or remote) just in case the main drive crash.
