improve restore options

Asked by avlas

Hi,

I really like BIT and use it a lot in kubuntu maverick. I'm wondering if restoring options could be improved a bit, here there are a couple of examples:

- I cannot see how to restore the whole "/" directory if I want to restore all the system, I have to go one by one and restore all the files and folders in there

- if I want to select some files and/or subfolders from a folder to restore, this is not either possible, I have to go again one by one, which can take a lot of time for very long lists (when a folder has a lot of files and subfolders)

In addition, sometimes I get confused because the item to restore is not what appears in the filebar, but what you have selected below in the file browser. Maybe it would be a bit clearer for users to have a prompt window (like for settings) where to put all the items to restore (as we do now to configure the backup with includes) and see the progress of restored files once started.

This would be so nice, and even better if instead of prompted windows everything would happen in the same window, so passing from main interface to settings or restore options, and then coming back to main interface again.

Thanks for considering and for the great job!
