unminimize creates new icon, and previous one disappears

If I click to unminimize a task, sometimes it will create a new icon in the bar, and the one I clicked disappears. Does not seem to affect launchers, only tasks.

Is there something I need to configure to prevent this?

Ubuntu 8.10
avant-window-navigator 0.2.6-7ubuntu1

Upgrade to 0.3.2 or above. Instructions for Ubuntu packages are here:
