Any keyboard shortcuts for awn?

I'd like to use awn in my HTPC with LIRC. Native IR control would be superior, but as working solution LIRC keys can be mapped to X keys with irxevent. Is it possible to use awn this way?

If awn is mouse only, is there any other window manager like sw that could bring something bit like cross media bar in PS3?

There are currently no keyboard shortcuts for Awn.

I am not aware of any docks (Awn is not a window manager) with keyboard shortcuts.

I'm looking for "good WAF" way of launching vdr (video disk recorder's X front-end) from HTPC desktop with just IR remote. I was using Matchbox that can be controlled with keyboard but the latest versions available e.g. in Ubuntu 8.10 do not work for me. Nautilus desktop icons do not get keyboard by default so I don't have an easy solution at the moment. Awn would definely be the coolest looking launcher I've so far found for this.
