cpufreq-selector on the bar

Asked by Sebastianoseno

Is there a way to get the gnome applet called cpufreq-selector on the avant bar? I definitely need it and the only way seems to be using a gnome panel...

Awn does not support placing Gnome applets on the dock. The only way to get a cpufreq applet onto the dock is for someone to either port the Gnome applet over to the Awn infrastructure, or write a completely new applet.

Nope. You have two options:

 * Create a "floating", non-expanded gnome-panel with the cpufreq applet in it
 * see if the screenlets project has a cpufreq-related applet.

Since 0.3.2 awn-extras contains the applet CPU Frequency Monitor.

Can you help with this problem?
