ALT+ TAB doesn't work

I have installed hardy on my laptop. Until recently ALT+TAB combination worked. But now it doesn't. I didn't play around with the system. The only regular change I do is updating my system with daily updates. Can somebody please help me?

Awn does not modify global keybindings such as Alt-Tab. You might want to find out which other packages were updated during this time. If you're using compiz, maybe something for that environment changed so that you can't use that keybinding.

Thanks LOT. You are exactly right. I disabled compiz and re-enabled it. Now everything works great, even though I don't know any logical way to express why.
