Which AWN package should I install for KDE

Asked by Primoz

There are so many versions of AWN and I'm not sure if I installed the right one...
I use Kubuntu 8.04, and I installed AWN from bzr package. But the main menu seems to be made for gnome and not KDE.
With all the packages out there I'm not sure that bzr package is desktop agnostic, am I right to assume that trunk is the desktop agnsotic package...
If so what do I have to install to have complete and working AWN?

Thanks for your help, and thanks for AWN it's the best!

Either package will work for you. It's simply a matter of whether you want to install all of the dependencies required by the Gnome version. Although, I should warn you that agnostic version is slightly more unstable due to a few bugs which are difficult to track down.

Currently, we don't have a KDE menu applet. However, if you wish to submit an applet that uses the KDE menu, we will certainly welcome it.
