Popup colors

Asked by Glen Hunt

Is there a way to change the color of the popup bubbles in AWN? Here's an example of what I'm talking about (look at the bottom of the screenshot, where I've clicked on the stack).

I'm reposting the screenshot to only show the detail I want to change.

The colors used are basically derived from the Gtk+ theme that you're using (which appears to be one of the darker themes). If you customize your theme (either using the "Themes" preferences dialog or via ~/.gtkrc), you should be able to change it.

Thanks! It appears, though, that if I want to stay with my current theme, I'll have to do some other kind of editing. When I went to the Themes dialog, and tried to change the color scheme, there's a message which says "the current control theme does not support color schemes." Do I need to change it manually, then?

Sounds like it. Another place to look is in the "Appearance" preferences dialog, in the "Theme" tab.

If that doesn't pan out, I would search for "gtkrc" in your search engine of choice. The results should give you some helpful information on how to customize your theme.
