AWN: undefined symbol: awn_gconf_new

Asked by siza

Im using Mandriva 2008 since 3 days ago
I have installed avant-window-navigator 0.2.1, awn-extras-applets 0.2.1 and libawn 0.1.2-0.88.1.2 and all the dependencies
The AWN bar is not starting. When in the konsole i type avant-window-navigator, I have the fowolling error:
"avant-window-navigator: symbol lookup error: avant-window-navigator: undefined symbol: awn_gconf_new"

The awn-manager opens, and i can select the applets normally, but no bar is shown.
I have been searching for a solution, and the only thing i saw is that maybe im using an old awn version. So i uninstall the packages, I delete al awn and avant folders and files (at least what i could find) and install them again, with the same result.

Can someone give me a clue or idea to make this work?
Thank you very much in advance for your help and time.
