The start button on the Zorin OS has crashed. I need it back to navigate computer. Help!

The OS works fine except the start button Applet has crashed. it says click to restart, but it doesn't. How do I repair this issue?

I want you to know, I don't know what in hell I'm doing. I'm a novice, not a programmer. I don't understand the instructions, the ABC, XYZ, etc, mean nothing to me, should I download the Chinese program/ I'm frustrated --- honest.
