Implement tabs for terminal applet?

First of, great applet!

But there is one thing on my wish list for this one.
I use my laptop as a mediaserver, with use of MediaTomb.
This is something I like to run with terminal because of the advantages of "keeping an eye on what is going on".
But this is a process that I need to kill if I want to do some more stuff in terminal.
Yes, sure I can run a new terminal if I want to do another task, but i really like the ease of using this applet.

I think it would be great if there could be implemented tabbed browsing here.
Don't you think?

...and if not by default, it would be nice to have an option to use tabbed browsing
