Position awn vertically at the left or right side of the screen

Hi,

I read that awn is stuck at the bottom of the screen for now and that several people would like to have it at the top of the screen.

I personally would love it on the left side of the screen, in a vertical position, and icons would hop to the right when hovering over them (or similarly for the right side of the screen).

Is this also planned, like positioning at the top of the screen? Are there any concrete plans as to which future version should have such a feature? And about when it might be released?

I don't want to urge any of the developers or anything. I'm just curious to know if there are any concrete plans or if this is just a feature that sits somewhere in the clouds and that might be implemented someday. I love awn, but I'd love it even more on the left side ;)
