I can't install AWN, please help

i tried to install AWN using this wiki (http://awn.wetpaint.com/page/UbuntuFeistyHowTo?t=anon) but when it asks me to put this "./autogen.sh".. i get the following error.

checking for glib-gettext >= 2.2.0...

too old (found version 2.0.7)
***Error***: You must have glib-gettext >= 2.2.0 installed

  from your distribution or get the source tarball at

i use ubuntu feisty fawn

how can i fix this ?

Those instructions are out of date. In fact, the entire wiki is out-of-date. The new wiki is located at http://wiki.awn-project.org/

There is a repository for Ubuntu Feisty, but it's out-of-date. The one for Ubuntu Gutsy is up-to-date. See:

Why do you have such an old version of glib2.0 installed on your computer? The latest version for Feisty is 2.12.11-0ubuntu1.

where can i get it ? i tried synaptic and it shows that i have it installed.

ok, i reinsatlled feisty fawn and it works now.. yay !
