Local language (partially) lost in AWN after replacing OOo by LibreOffice
I've been using awn in french for a while under Ubuntu 10.04 and, after I completely removed OpenOffice to replace it by LibreOffice, I partially lost some of the french labels in AWN.
Removing OOo did remove some of the french locale files, reinstalled with LibreOffice.
For instance, while "Dock Preferences" is still in french (Préférences du dock) and the bolded "chapters" too, all the remaining is now in english. That is I get Size of icons, Orientation, Style, Behavior, Autohide mode etc... instead of their french translations.
And the File Browser Launcher applet is all in english, when it used to be in french before.
What else can I say ?
~$ locale
LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=fr_FR:en
LC_CTYPE=
LC_NUMERIC=
LC_TIME=
LC_COLLATE=
LC_MONETARY=
LC_MESSAGES=
LC_PAPER=
LC_NAME=
LC_ADDRESS=
LC_TELEPHONE=
LC_MEASUREMENT=
LC_IDENTIFICATI
LC_ALL=
Yes, you see LANGUAGE still ending with "en", but I just could not find the way to change it, editing /etc/environment (and/or ~/.profile) for this didn't work, LANGUAGE still remains fr_FR:en after reboot.
I also removed (purged) all the awn packets and re-installed them : same song.
I just can figure out where the awn configuration files specifying the locale are, if any.
Any help appreciated, TIA.
