When adding a dock, no dock appears

I run Ubuntu 11.04
I installed AWN in 2 different ways: software center and by http://dft.ba/-VUE both installations did not work. The problem is, when I add a dock, no dock appears. I can pus 'add dock' a million times and nothing will happens. How to solve this problem?

weird. Same issue. What you do? Did you download any updates a few days after? maybe it needed a file or something. Mine not working. It just sits there dun do nothing. Nothing works right in my life lol. One day!
