Same panel for every user (Ubuntu 10.04)

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it's possible for everyone to get the same panel on startup. I already have it working for it to startup for all users. Now it's starts up with the prefrences icon and firefox icon. But i also want to add a garbage applet to it, and i want do to that in one location which applies to all users, is this even possible? I know it's possible in a previous version by changing values in the gconf-editor in /apps/avant-window-navigator/panel but it doesn't work anymore.

Any ideas?

Please mention the version of Awn you're using.

Assuming you're using trunk (0.4.1); you need to edit /apps/instances/avant-window-navigator/panel-ID/panel/applet_list where ID is a number 1, 2, ... You could ask https://launchpad.net/~drichard or davelargo in #awn on irc.freenode.net for more information. He runs Awn for like a gazillion users :p
