Removing icon highlighting in Avant test version

There is no obvious option in the dock preferences allowing users to remove highlighting the icons of the open windows. Can you please introduce such an option in the theme customisation area? I think this feature maybe missed by many users in addition to be able to modify how an icon is highlighted, as in change the default square highlight to a glow or a circular background, etc.

Furthermore, what is the config folder of AWN? I am sure even more customisations can be performed from there.

You can change the color using awn-settings > theme > customize > icons > active rectange. If you want some special shape you can change /apps/avant-window-navigator/effects/active_background_icon.
