How to translate AWN?

I'm currently trying to get a german version of awn running.
I don't know how do add new languages though.
Is it possible to add a german language pack?

Awn uses standard gettext, with the translations here on Launchpad (https://translations.launchpad.net/awn). Various translations are included in standard Awn install (though they may be incomplete).

Is there anyway to update the translation of my installation?
The german-translation on launchpad is by far better than the the one included in my awn.

Considering you have recent enough version of Awn, you can download the translation in MO format from Launchpad and replace the old Awn's .mo file in your system directory.

That's what i figured. I couldn't find the file though.

`locate avant | grep 'mo$'`
