Duplicate avn bar being displayed side by side

Asked by Korky Kathman

When I first start AVN, the glass bar seems to be OVER the icons instead of underneath, which seems a bit wrong I think.

Next from what I see, I have two identical sets of icons side by side. I have the following icons that show up (left to right):

Firefox
Terrninal
Gaim
Xchat - channel 1
Xchat - channel 2
Xchat - channel 3

This same set apears in a duplicate panel to the right.

I have no launches defined.

Is this right?? I realize that this might represent a launcher and a taskbar, but I just installed and have no launchers defined!

I'd like to see the icons and bar smaller also, but right now this all seems a bit unusuable and takes up alot of space where it really doesnt need to. I would be happy to provide screenshots if desired.

Current system: Ubuntu Feisty running beryl.

Thanks,

Korky Kathman

What AWN version are you using?

Hi, open avant-applets (or right-click>configure applets) and make sure you don't have two 'Launcher/Taskmanager' applets loaded :-)
