I've created a digital clock applet - what now?

Asked by Mike Desjardins

Hey there,

I've created a very very simple digital clock applet for avant window navigator. It's not configurable yet - all that it does is show the time in HH:MM 24-hour format. I'd like to add some features to it, but first I was wondering

1.) Has anyone else done this yet? I looked around, and I'm surprised to see that now one else has done this.
2.) Are people interested in this? If so, how do I contribute?
3.) Is this the right place to post questions like this? I've been lurking around on awn.wetpaint.com, so I'm not sure where the "active" awn community is!

I've never contributed to any open source projects before, and it's been a long time since I've written any C, and this is my first foray into GTK. Any mentoring/pointers/etc. are appreciated, thanks!

I already do it !
It's available in awn-extras : https://launchpad.net/awn-extras.
It has a digital format and an analogic format, there are many options.
I relaese the next version asap with the preference in GConf, for the moment they are only on the source code.
