windows maximization restore

I set AWN with "maximized windows don't cover the bar" option, and work fine.
Then if I close AWN or leave the check from this option the maximized windows remain up on the screen and do not use the wall surface. Haw I can restore the hold maximization format to the bottom of my screen?

This should be done automatically by your window manager when Awn is closed. But maybe for some reason Awn doesn't really quit in your case, so you might want to try using our latest beta version in awn-testing PPA.
