Mounted drives appear in dock?

Is there a way to have a mounted drive (like a USB drive) appear in the dock when it is connected? Similar to how on many desktops when you plug in your USB drive an icon appears on the desktop. It would be cool if it were in the dock instead of on the desktop. Thanks!

There's an applet called File Browser Launcher that you can use.
