Switched to python for stack applet. What to do?

Hello,

I have not worked on the "Stack" applet for a while.
Instead I have been working on a python version, that is better designed, faster, more user friendly etc...

It is not finished, but I like to push it onto the bazaar branch. But before I want to do that, I want to make a decision about the "old" Stack applet (in C). Can I just remove it from the branch, or do I get disappointed users?

Should we move it to somewhere else? I do not plan to maintain it anymore. Can someone give me (us) advice on what to do with it. As I do not have experience with such a case.
