System freezes when attempting install

Hi, I've installed Auto NDIS Wrapper and started the process, but once I've downloaded the driver to the tmp directory and press Enter to continue, the PC just freezes and I need to reboot

Is there something else I can try?

Ubuntu dual boot with Vista on HP laptop. Internet access works fine with network cable, not with wireless

I will work on adding some lines to the codes so that information about the installation is recorded to the log file. When I make that version available I will tell you so that you can run it to see whats happening.
