I am getting the same error listed here by scum. Is there a way we can download the file manually and point the python script to it? That, or can someone clean up the database as this is obviously a very malformed URL.

Figured it out. Edit the database.py file, thats where all the URLs are. Take a look at all the entries and you will see the expected syntax. Now search for "kubuntu" and you will see a bunch of entries with the bad url. Clean it up, save the file, run again.

Will change it to solved since this is a bug (and a bug report for it has been created) and we will release a new version of the database without this bug.
