Auth server failed to pong!

Asked by Alex Kamil

We have a working wifidog-auth server setup and running with about 5 nodes. Currently we are looking to move over to authpuppy.

We have setup a windows 2012 server with authpuppy installed as per the instructions and i can get on and configure authpuppy fine. I am having an issue with importing the authserver users and nodes but that is a different matter.

Currently when i connect a test node to authpuppy i get "Auth server failed to pong!" on the node.

I cant for the life of me find anything as to why it will not connect to authpuppy.

Any Ideas

I managed to get Auth server says: Pong by removing STRICT_TRANS_TABLES from sql-mode in my.ini.

This was mentioned in https://bugs.launchpad.net/authpuppy/+bug/907203

I cant get emaisl to send now or migrate from WiFiDog but ill keep working on that and keep you updated.
