network policies

Asked by deimer grueso

would like to know if the network policy, could be applied by user, not per node, I find it much more efficient user identification and speeds per node, anyone know if this can be done ¿? thanks for the collaboration

In my own opinion, policies yes, are part of nodes but i don't think they've been created especially for node.

For example, in the definition of the policies you have relative policies where for splash login, you have relative polices for users who have to enter a name and a password.

For specifics situations when a user doesn't have all the criteria needed to have a regular access, he is restricted by a policie.

A user can login without password and in his case, a policie can be defined giving him a short period of time sessions until he provided a specific password. There's user who need to be validated, so until there are not, these users will have other policies affecting them. So policies are made for group of user if i can be more precise.

No matter the node you are connected to, i think that there is no specific policies for each node. The way i see is that policies are created for user's specific situations. One thing where the can be related to node, and i'm not sure about it, is that policies can be used in some node, while they can't in other node.
