Everything isn't self explanatory.

Do you have an access point running a wifidog client?
If not, check out http://dev.wifidog.org/ for documentation on how to build your access point

Otherwise, you should simply have to connect to your access point and you'll be asked to create your hotspot. Some further documentation on the authpuppy auth server can be found at http://authpuppy.org/doc

I have a router with DD-WRT on ... and it has a wifidog client on there. I've got the authpuppy server here http://hotspot.mydomain.com/index.php. I've followed the Get started Windows guide on http://authpuppy.org/doc . But what do I have to do to connect my AP to authpuppy and Start using the system?

The client on DD-WRT has the following on there:

Wifidog daemon
Gateway ID
Web Server Name
Port
Max Users
Check Interval (in sec.)
Client Timeout
Trusted MAC List
AuthServer Hostname
AuthServer SSL Available
Enable Disable
AuthServer HTTP Port
AuthServer Path
HTTP Server Authentication Support
HTML Message File for Wifidog
Firewall Ruleset

I Cannot find anything regarding this on the Wiki.

Please have a look at http://dev.wifidog.org/browser/trunk/wifidog/wifidog.conf

The information contained within the file should make things easier to understand.

Although wifidog is built into DD-WRT, it is not really supported by the team, as such the DD-WRT website should have infomation...

but here are some tips:
Wifidog daemon - makes the process run in the background as a daemon
Gateway ID - a unique string that identifies the gateway
Port - Default: 2060
Max Users - the amount of users that can connect to the AP at any given time
Check Interval (in sec.) - Default: 60
Client Timeout - Default: 5
AuthServer Hostname - the hostname (or IP) of your auth server e.g. auth.domain.com
AuthServer SSL Available - does your authserver allow SSL connections?
AuthServer Path - Default: /wifidog/ Note: The path must be both prefixed and suffixed by /. Use a single / for server root.)

Most of these values are optional, but again, please look at the link above.

Can you help with this problem?
