Symfony error 500 when creating an account

Asked by David Aubry

I have this issue: Symfony report "Oops! An Error Occurred - The server returned a "500 Internal Server Error"" right after I try to create a user on the end user login page (see http://auth.cglmicro.ca). Nothing is reporterd in my PHP error_log.txt.

I've tried alpha_1.6 and beta_1.5 with the same result.

I'm running IIS 7 and followed you INSTALL ON WINDOWS tutorial.

I don't know where to go next; anyone to help me (French or English is find) ?

It look like https://answers.launchpad.net/authpuppy/+question/161689 btw.

what version of the core are you using? also do you get an error message if trying it when running http://auth.cglmicro.ca/frontend_dev.php (this will have to be ran from the server unless you edit the access restrictions in the file)

Installed version : 1.0.0 stable

No error message, try it since it looks like working from the outside without me having to modify any restriction access.

I just created a user with the network login on the frontend_dev.php page and it worked. Is your problem solved?

Yes, I see that it work with http://auth.cglmicro.ca/frontend_dev.php, I see the user you created but it didn't sent any validation email.

If I understand well, I can't use the frontend_dev.php page; it need to work straight from http://auth.cglmicro.ca but it still don't. Is it related to the email module that can't send and is causing the error 500?

Thanks a lot for your help !!!
