WifiDog DD-WRT

Asked by David C. Moody

I was able to get authPuppy installed.

Trying to get wifiDog on DD-WRT pointed at new authpuppy installation.

But i keep getting the green WifiDog page saying the login page could not be displayed. Does anyone know what the settings should be fore authserverpath in DDWRT? or the settings in general?

Thanks,
-David

Did you use to have you DD-WRT router work with an old wifidog auth server or is it your first install?

If authpuppy is at the root of your server, you may try / as serverpath. Otherwise it is the part after the first / of the url. Not sure about DD-WRT, but in openWRT, the server path has to end with /

Ah setting the path to / worked.

Now i have a few other questions..

1) How do i log out as a user?
2) Is it possible to see what users are currently connected?
3) Is it possible to remotely 'disconnect' a user?

Thanks for the help!

1) How do i log out as a user?

You don't... He is automatically logged out after a period of inactivity ot 30 minutes (not yet configurable).

2) Is it possible to see what users are currently connected?

You can know the number of users on a node, but not who they are. Though you could indirectly use the apStatisticsPlugin, the connection report, from today to today, by selecting at least the field 'status'. Online users will have status of TOKEN_VALIDATED.

3) Is it possible to remotely 'disconnect' a user?

No [not yet]

Can you help with this problem?
