ntfs does not load my external hard drives in 1604lts

Under Ubuntu 1604 LTS does not load my external windows hard drives.
plugged in the Unbuntu 14.04 LTS laptop, they are seen.
Is this a bug?
reloaded the ntfs-3g several times, no change
