Is there any documentation for Audio-recorder?

For now I just wanted to know what is the purpose of the "Add" check-mark, right of the "File:" name entry.

The add-to-file (APPEND) option is part of the FileSink element.

If you check the box, it adds the recording to the latest recording that was started. If you uncheck the box (default), it creates a new file each time you click the 'Start recording' button.
