how to install after download and unpack

I have downloaded and unpacked the program and tried to get to the folder but I am told that the directory does not exist, please help

When I try to compile it it asks for gstreamer 1.0 which is on the machine and goes no further.
any suggestions?

Is this still a problem for you?

Please read the audio-recorder/INSTALL file. It contains a list of required libraries and dependencies (when compiling from source).
