Audience

What about using Audience for pictures and text files?

Audience is an awesome video player, but when I try to open a image with it and it looks awesome too. So I was thinking that would be a great idea to change Audience a bit to support images, audio and text files, something similar to OS X previews.

This has considered but the conclusion is that Audience should just focus on trying to be the best video player. You may wanna try Gloobus Preview, it fits what you described.
