ASUS T100 - Linux&Ubuntu

Will the ISO Install Ubuntu 16.04 Kernel 4.7.1.5 work on T100HA?

Hi,

My understanding is that the T100HA has a different processor to the other T100 devices (cherry trail processor as opposed to the bay trail).

All the text on this page and the google group mention T100TA and its variants but do not definitively mention the T100HA.

Please kindly advise; I have my fingers crossed in the meanwhile ;-)

Hello,

We developed some patched kernels to be used on bay trail processor and specially on T100 tablets.
You can search on Google if there is people who can help you to have a patched kernel for your tablet.
You can also try our kernels, but I think you'll have somme issues on the dmesg report, it could damage our processor.

Try to find a patch for you processor, test our hardware patches, and then build our own kernel with the .config files for 32 or 64 bits.
