Problems with Astrid

Can anyone help me with this! Each time I open Astrid on my HTC Hero I get a message that say "loading" It lasts for a few minutes before anything comes up on the screen. When I try to add a task it gives me the same message instead of instantly putting it on my list. I have tried to remove the entire program and reload it but the same thing happens.

Try downloading the our pre-release version at launchpad.net/astrid.

If you haven't installed an apk before you will need to download the apk
file you get from launchpad to the sd card on your phone and use the App
Installer (which can be downloaded from the market) to install the apk. Let
us know if this works for you.
