It would be wonderfull to have the same features on the windows platform - are there any planes for that?

Right now the short answer is no. Astrid 3.0 will be more extensible on of the benefits of which will be allowing synchronization with more web based services (Toodledo for example and many others have been requested).

This will enable some of Astrid's functionality to come to the desktop through the browser. I think some of these services might also sync with Outlook or other applications. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer - hoped to have the the start timer, on tasks - in some way - without using the phone.
