Downloading onto mytouch phone

I just got the mytouch phone and have been trying to figure out how to download the astrid task/to do list on my phone but can't for the life of me figure it out! I know it must be incredibly simple and I used to think I was at least somewhat computer literate but I am completely baffled - can someone please enlighten me??? Pretty please???!!

You need to use the android market and download it from your phone.
