Can't see completed tasks

Is there a way to set a task to repeat and then cross it off and it show up as completed. For example, right now I have get pool checked for chemicals and repeating on a weekly basis but once I check it off, it disappears and doesn't show up on my completed list instead the next repeat of get pooled checked for chemicals is showing up.

It would be nice to be able to repeat items but also see what has been completed for that week. It doesn't show this either when I sync it with remember the milk. It's like the completed task for that week disappears since it is repeating. I have made sure that the completed tasks are checked to show but to no avail. Please let me know if it is suppose to show up as a completed task when it repeats or if you might get that going in the newer version.
