ARToolKitPlus

ARToolkitPlus in Ubuntu, about install, configure and simple demo

Hi,

I cannot find an exactly answer about these basic processes for the ARToolkitPlus;

Could anyone tell me how to install it in Ubuntu(2.1.5, use scons), how to configure it, and how to integrate it with Eclipse, step by step?

basically you should be fine with the packages in my PPA. You only need scons to build the library not for your project. But if you want to build the examples you have to uncomment the last line in ./SConstruct

It is known that ARToolKit (not ARToolKitPlus) had some problemas with new Kernels of Ubuntu. I had to use Ubuntu 10.04 for it to work properly. But I'd like to try ARToolKitPlus.

Does anyone have tried ARToolKitPlus on the last version of Ubuntu? Does it Work?

"ARToolKitPlus is no longer updated since June 2006."

So the answer for my question is: "Probably wont work, so I am stuck on Ubuntu's old Kernels as many of my colleagues who get to use ARToolKit on their academic projects."
