png support?

its been a long while since ive modded RA2YR and im not up to date with Ares so if this is already a feature let me know, if not its a request

add PNG or BMP support if possible. doesnt have to support transparent images, the point is to make it easier for adding our own images

Ares doesn't add support for more modern graphics formats. I think there are good tools to create SHP files already, and adding support is actually too much work for too little gain.

If you just want to modifiy cameos, PCXs are supported, so you can just export PCX format from Photoshop and use Ares tag SidebarPCX.
