i need the code so i can download from ubunto software center

i cant download any apps it asks for authentacation and i enter my password but doesnt work can i get a password?

You have to be aware that when entering the password in response to sudo's "enter password" prompt in a terminal window, you will not get any feedback on screen, no echo, not even '*' placeholders.
Just 'blind' enter your password and hit enter.
