Mon mot de passe pour modifier n'est plus accepté

Depuis quelques temp, le système refuse mon mot de passe (dont je suis sûr) pourcharger de nouveaux logiciels.
Quelle est la procédure pour réinitialiser le mot de passe ?

You can remove yourself from the list of subscripted persons. Just klick on the red sign next to your name on the right side.

Are you assuming i do not know my password? Why? not a chance. this is
deliberate. others have the same garbage happening lately, bad to
trust all contributors, i see. a few are microsoft plants.

sez you. it is exactly and specifically when it occurred, no
possibility of co-incidence. status: not answered, so far. i will look
at this link, thanks for replying..i do appreciate all possible ways
to fix this. i tried several text root level commands, and it keeps
saying permission denied. from passwd command.

what are you talking about? i never said that i wanted to be
unsubscribed! i asked how to fix a problem. some girl said that, maybe
it was a comment made connected to a related question...................

This does not work, per google found link for this problem, thanks,
but when i tried it i get message
   authentication token manipulation error
password unchanged
and that is all that happens. linux now sucks really big.

it did, and i found several text strings within the root level command-set, which were ineffective until i tried re-ordering the sequence of remount commands like debian or fedora, and found a root menu choice after exiting, and it is the one not first offered, but appeared after i re-iterated the mount commands, the root level choice is the one above root level only, it is the one including enabling or utilizing networking, then suddenly the passwd command worked properly.......changed it like help advised it would. it now that it worked, it was way too easy now.

type, i have solved it, thanks. i tried to cancel/close it but still
get them.
