Can't upgrade in precise: libgee problem
When attempting to apply upgrade in 32 bit precise, got "the following packages have unresolvable dependencies" error.
aptik:
Depends: libgee-0.8-2 (>=0.8.3) but it is not installable
Any guidance on how to proceed?

The version of aptik that you try to install (coming from the ppa:teejee2008/ppa PPA) depends on libgee-0.8-2.
The package libgee-0.8-2 does not exist for standard Ubuntu precise, but is available in PPAs.
If I check the buildlog of the aptik package, I see that during the build process that package was taken from the PPA of the vala team (ppa:vala-
If you add the vala-team's PPA to your repository sources, then the installation of aptik might work.
Try
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:vala-team/ppa
sudo apt-get update
apt-get --simulate dist-upgrade
