appy pod odt to pdf in heroku (or hosting provider)

Asked by daniel herrera

Congratulations about appy pod, it is a really smart solution. thanks to share it.

I'm an django application hosted in heroku. I use appy pod to make reporting. I would like to export odt to pdf but open office service is not available.

Do you know if Is there a way to include some kind of OO executable in my project and invoque it (as a command line execution, for example) to export odt to pdf.

regards,
daniel.

Hi Daniel,
Sorry I have no idea of what you can do or not on heroku. For my own needs, I only buy virtual servers "naked", just with the OS, and I apt-get all the soft I need. I suspect there is no other solution for having LibreOffice running for your project...
Cheers
Gaetan
