Citrix Receiver

Asked by Tom Martens

I have a question concerning the installation of Citrix Receiver.
I've tried installing it on Elementary OS Luna but with the help of the official ubuntu forum but it didn't work out for me. Instead my installation screwed things up for OS Luna.

Now yesterday i completely reinstalled (Elementary Freya), i still need Citrix Receiver for workrelated stuff so that i can work at home from my laptop, but I don't want to ruin my fresh install.

Can someone please guide me step by step on how it is done without messing up the OS.
Thanks in advance.

My kind regards,

Tom Martens

Got my problem solved in the mean time.

I installed citrix receiver 64-bit found here
(http://www.citrix.com/downloads/citrix-receiver/linux/receiver-for-linux-131.html)

I haven't installed the usb support package because software center gives a warning when trying to install it, maybe i'll try it again later, don't need it for now.

Then I tried to start the citrix with my login and password but he have SSL error 61 or something like that.
Then I used the command line from this website to solve the problem. Note: I only installed the 2 command lines concerning the SSL error, didn't do anything else.

For now it's working like a charm for me, only going to get some more information on how to install the USB support package, because I think I'm gonna need it to use my headset.
