Ubuntu Gnome Integration

Asked by Selwyn Orren

Hi,

I am running Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 and even though the apps works just fine, it does not integrate with the sound menu at all, unless of course I am doing something wrong - lol. The only way I can get to choose different sounds, etc is by installing the gui interface, which I would prefer not to do.

Is there something I can do to get it to integrate with the sound menu?

If I go into my sound settings then under the apps tab I can adjust the main volume of the app, but that’s all.

Thanks

Hi Selwyn,
Could you try this GNOME extension? :)
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/55/media-player-indicator/
If it works for you, you should remove the anoise-gui ;)
A hug!
