Hi Vladimir!
It's weird. I'm using MATE too as my default desktop and it is working fine.

Could you try this test:
1. Open Screenshot in Applications / Accesories / Screenshot
2. Delay of 8" > and "Take screenshot"
3. Click on the sound icon in your systray and wait for the screenshot.
4. Upload the picture where you prefer and post it here.

Vladimir, could you post here the exist of this command too? Open a Terminal and run:
apt-cache search indicator-sound

It's fixed :) Just install this package too:
sudo apt-get install anoise-gui
