contact's sync?

just wondering will u be adding a contact's sync because i'd love to have that
i was thinking if u do get contact sync going have it go both ways to/from the standard android contacts

Yes, and yes :) Currently there's Funambol client to sync your contacts, but since Android has possibility to access couchDB via CouchDroid, I'd like to implement that as soon as I'm done with real file sync :)

just a note i tryed to sync my contacts with Funambol and tryed for almost 2h before giving up as it is not straight forward and there is no useful instructions anyware if it was just working it'd be awesome

(BTW if your phone is not available, pick a similar one. Mine isn't on the list, and it worked for me.)

The ubuntu one service always crashes on my Android phone. Are there special things to look for?

Hi Richard, please report a separate bug at https://bugs.launchpad.net/androidu1/+filebug or send the log from the Settings screen so that I'll be able to trace the problem.
