Ubuntu Netbook Edition not active my microphone

Ubuntu Netbook Edition not active my microphone.
Nor live USB or installed.
My system it is Asus Eee PC 1015PED.
In Windows 7 Starter the microphone works fine.
Can you help me?

Ubuntu installed PULSEAUDIO driver on my system.
What can I do?
